Who is Chanell Shorter?
“I am a multi-disciplined graphic designer with an affinity for print and web. I have over 8 years experience in the field. I am also intellectually curious and thrive on collaboration. As such I enjoy working in a creative team. I also love to problem-solve and create useful, clear design that can make technical information usable to anyone. I have a background in photography, so storytelling often finds its way into my visual solutions.
My style is a mix of documentary and editorial fine art photography. I am highly influenced by photojournalist as well as fine art photographers. With anything I shoot the goal is to approach it from a photojournalist point of view. I like to get the shots that no one notices but are a pivotal piece of the story I’m trying to tell.
My professional experience has allowed me to work on a wide variety of projects that include but isn’t limited to various product ads (both web and print), catalogs, web banners, email newsletters, direct mail pieces, postcard, website, etc. I am able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and ensure the work is produced at the highest level possible.
During my professional career I have had the opportunity to work with corporate as well as small businesses alike. A few of my clients included American HomePatient®, Lifeway Christian Ministry®, Price of Popularity Apparel, political campaigns, and many others.
My specialties include design, branding, identity, packaging, strategic planning, social media marketing and website design.“ (source)
