Who is Elon Blackwell?
“With 25+ years of graphic design experience, I understand the importance of delivering projects on-time and on-budget without compromising the creative side of the marketing message. I’m always looking for ways to contribute to new creative endeavors, sharing my passion for brand identity and consumer focused design.
For the past 12+ years I’ve been employed with Papa John’s International as their Senior Designer for their National Advertising and Digital Marketing campaigns. My primary areas of responsibility is in digital marketing campaigns, which includes our website, email-marketing, microsites, and social media assets. I also provide art direction for product photo shoots, regional advertising, in-store POP signage, packaging design and brand standards that support our North American franchise system.
Before relocating to Louisville, KY I was employed by Kellen Communications, servicing over 70 associations throughout the world. Supporting such a large client base brings countless demands on our time and as a design professional, I carried out various responsibilities with minimal supervision while managing external projects produced by our freelance staff.
Prior to Kellen, I worked in LOMA’s (Life Office Management Association) marketing department for 7 years as a Graphic Designer. In this position I was responsible for creating a variety of design concepts and brand identity standards for many of LOMA’s Products and Services in print and online which includes brochures, conference, direct mail pieces, web design, interactive presentations and online promotions.
I’ve been fortunate to have such great opportunities to work with some truly talented people and mentors at a variety of agencies, publishing houses and in-house creative departments. From my internship & first job at The Atlanta Tribune as Assistant Art Director to my various freelance opportunities, I’m truly thankful!” (source)
